Hello Peace & Nature members and friends,

Well, the autumn chill is finally upon us.  As you know, Japan is blessed with a beautiful natural environment and changing seasons, making us lucky to live here.  But did you know that our director Bahram’s home country of Iran also has four seasons?

Most people probably imagine a desert, but Iran actually has seasonal vegetables, as well as fresh fish from nearby seas.  It even has a tropical island called Kish, which is a popular spot for young people!  Consider that your international tidbit for the day.

Welcome to the November monthly newsletter.  This year, our biggest news is definitely the Edo Project! We are renovating our farmhouse in Ozo into a P&N base and revitalizing unused fields to create a cycle of educational farms where children and adults can learn from nature and create a safe environment.

You can keep up-to-date on our events at our new Google Calendar:

Announcements:

Buy organic rice to support our educational farm!

This year’s new rice is ready, grown with care by our members and their children!  This includes rice grown at our educational farm in Ozo and by our network of organic farmers in the region.  Purchase our rice and connect to a sustainable cycle!
