Nature School Program
Summer School 2017
Take the DIY challenge in our bamboo workshop!
Harvest corn and make flowing somen noodle tubes!
Create and eat together.
Peace & Nature holds Nature School programs to interact with nature and learn about food and the environment through farming and cooking workshops. For this year’s summer school, we are embarking on a DIY bamboo workshop as part of our Akiya Renovation Edo Project. We will also pick corn at our neighbor’s farm and harvest vegetables from our organic garden, and even make bamboo tubes for flowing somen noodles! It’s all about cooking and enjoying the delicious results together. This program is perfect for kids’ summer vacation reports. Join with the whole family!
