2 days – feel free to come both days!
Peace & Nature is growing rice without any chemical fertilizers or pesticides by using “agricultural fermented pellets” to control weeds, with the help of our neighbors in Ozo, Kita-ku, Kobe. We’re growing rice in a redeveloped fallow field!
Planting rice is an experience full of excitement and new realizations! This is a fun event for Japanese and non-Japanese to enjoy together. We warmly invite you to join us.
Dates: Saturday, May 26 and Sunday, June 3
Location: Ozo-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe

10:00 – Meet at location
10:20 – Opening ceremony
10:30 – Begin rice planting
12:00 – Lunch & cleanup
13:00 – Closing ceremony, end
*Activities may change due to weather.
Participants: 50 (first-come first-served)
Fee: Members: 1,000 yen (elementary students 500 yen, under elementary school free)
Visitors: 2,000 yen (elementary students 1,000 yen, under elementary school free)
*You are also welcome to register as a member on the day.
(Annual membership fee: individuals 3,000 yen, families 3,500 yen, students 1,000 yen)
Please wear: Long sleeve shirt, long pants, hat (clothing will get muddy)
Please bring: Lunch, drink, hat, towel, change of clothes, sandals, bucket for plants
