Peace & Nature is working to revitalize the forest on Mt. Rokko as part of our mission to revive and harmonize with the natural environment. Our work area is near the peak of Mt. Kinchozan, adjacent to the hiking path connecting Hokura Shrine and Kazafukiiwa. During this workshop, participants will plant 6 types of trees, including wild cherry and Japanese maple, for a total of 30 trees as part of our forest revitalization work. Japanese and international participants will collaborate in this event. We welcome your participation.

Date: Saturday, March 2nd 
*Light rain or shine ( (will decide at 7:00 on the day. In case of rain, postpone to Sunday, March 3rd)
Time: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Meet up: 9:00 at Hankyu Okamoto Station, South Gate)

Participation fee: Peace & Nature members: 500 yen, non-members: 1,000 yen, students: free
(Includes event insurance for all participants)

Please bring: bento, drink, small tarp to sit on, work gloves, towel, change of clothes, water bottle (suggested size: men: 1L, women: 500 ml)
Clothing: long sleeves and long pants appropriate for contact with trees, shoes appropriate for hiking

9:00 Meet up (Hankyu Okamoto Station)
10:30 Arrive at P&N Mt. Rokko forest work area
11:00-1:00 Tree planting (lecture & activity), lunch
2:00 Finish (Hankyu Okamoto Station)
