Let’s enjoy Japanese traditional rice harvest together with global friends with all five senses! With the cooperation of farmers in OZO, Kita-ku, Kobe, we harvest rice grown under the blessings of the sun without using any chemical fertilizers or pesticides. We look forward to your participation.
Date: 1st: Saturday, September 26th
2nd: Saturday, October 3rd
Meeting place: 47 Hisaihara, OZO-cho, Kita-ku, Kobe (Please park your car at Komodaru factory)
Number of participants: 30 (first-come-first-served basis) (target: individual/family)
*Please note that the measures will be taken to prevent corona infection.
Fee: Member: 1,000 yen (500 yen for elementary school students, free for elementary school students and younger)
Non-member: 2000 yen (1000 yen for elementary school students, free for elementary school students and under)
Schedule: Contents may change depending on the weather.
The decision to postpone or cancel will be made at 7 am on the day of the workshop.

10:40 Rice harvesting and rice drying
12:30 pm Clean up & lunch
14:00 pm Closing ceremony
Clothes for harvesting: Long-sleeved clothes, long pants, work gloves, long socks, masks, etc. (Expect to be muddy!)
What to bring: Drinks, lunch, hats, towels, work gloves, long shoes (or shoes that can protect your feet), change of clothes
