Making good use of bamboo! — Lunch made from thinned wood!
Participants will try their hand at making bamboo trees and kadomatsu (Japanese stone pine) as a way to make effective use of bamboo. We will also use thinned wood as firewood to cook rice, bake potatoes, and make baked persimmons. What does a baked persimmon taste like? What kind of kadomatsu will we make? Please take the kadomatsu home and decorate it at home! We are looking forward to your participation.
