Participation Agreement

Peace & Nature (P&N), a non-profit organization, will do its best to ensure that all participants can engage in meaningful and safe activities, but we also ask that participants themselves acknowledge the following points and submit a "Participation Agreement" form. In order to continue to enjoy our activities with the children and everyone else, please understand the contents of the precautions, agree to them, and take responsibility for your own participation.

Please Accept

1. Please be aware that because you will be working in nature and using tools, there are risks of injury, accident, danger from plants and animals, and natural disasters (lightning, heavy rain, strong winds, etc.).

2. Parents or caregivers with small children are requested to keep an eye on them to prevent accidents. Please keep your children with you at all times during the activity. Please note that you will be responsible for any injuries that occur.

3. Please be aware that you may be required to use cutting tools such as shears and scissors during the activities. Children and minors must be accompanied by an adult family member.

4. Please be aware that small animals, snakes, bees, etc. may suddenly appear when working in nature. If you see an animal, do not touch it and ask a nearby staff member for help. The mountain lion is also a venomous snake. Please do not touch snakes, as they are difficult to identify.

5. Staff will take photos and videos during the activity. We may post them on our website, Facebook page, flyers, etc. If you do not wish to be photographed or videotaped, please let our staff know before the activity.

6. Please take care of your belongings and valuables by yourself.

7. Please take all trash home with you.

8. Smoking is not permitted at all events and workshops.

9. Please be careful not to disturb the surrounding farmers and neighbors.

10. Please drink plenty of water during summer activities to prevent heat stroke.

11. Food may be served at the workshop. Please make your own (or your family's) decisions regarding food allergies.

12. The road is narrow. Parking space is not very large. Please be careful when moving your car around the site, and be sure that there are no children around.

13. Please do not put vegetables or plants in your mouth without checking them.

14. This is a workshop with a limited number of participants. We would appreciate it if you could avoid cancellations. Please note that 50% of the fee will be charged for cancellations made the day before and 100% on the day of the workshop.

15. We ask that you participate at your own risk in our activities.

16. However, those who participate in the activity are requested to register as a member and join the volunteer insurance but people who wish to participate as non-members or if they are concerned that they may not always be compensated to their satisfaction depending on the circumstances of the accident, we recommend to purchase their own insurance.

Lastly, P&N hopes to continue to enjoy our activities together with you. In order to do so, we need your understanding and cooperation. We would appreciate it if each member and participant could think and devise ways to make the time together enjoyable! Thank you very much for your cooperation.
